Summer Fun!!

Here are some of our summer hightlights so far. We took a trip to visit family and friends over the 4th of July. We spent a day with our friends the Andersons and had a great time. While we were there we had a bit of a John Deere derby. Let me introduce the participants.

The teams were making circles in the lawn and getting points by passing the other team. Okay, I just made up these rules but I think that these were really the unspoken rules of this event! The boys were yelling "go faster" and "pass" and the daddy's were all to happy to appease them! I am not sure who was having more fun, the kids or the grownups.

Then we decided to have some fun on the lake. Braden had a chance to drive and as you can tell he was thrilled!

We spent some time with Grandma and Grandpa. Here we are playing some putt-putt.

We also enjoyed an air show. If you click on the picture you can see an airplane at the end of the mouth. The kids thought the whole show was great and have not stopped talking about it. Thank you to the Miller family who let us enjoy it from their yard!

We let the kids use our camera to entertain themselves until the fireworks started. Here is a picture they took that didn't turn out too bad!

We also spent a lot of time in the pool. This would be Grandma and Braden's favorite way to spend summer.

And last, but not least, a picture of cousin Maya because it just turned out so cute!
